I approximately work from approximately 9-5. more like 10-6 or 11-7, but it's still a regular 8 hour day, give or take.

I typically work 9-5 on most weekdays , except on Tuesdays when I work 9-8 or on days when meet with people or have events after 5PM. I tend to adjust my schedule and come in late to stay late as needed, but I frequently go a few hours over the 35 hours a week that I'm paid to work.

I'm supposed to be working an 8 hour day with one hour lunch (HA!). It just varies from week to week depending on when I'm needed.

My director e-mailed all the managers asking for our work schedules so she can figure out coverage and I'm still trying to come up with an answer that would make sense to her.

For some reason, the standard workday here seems to be 8:00-4:30.

For a few more weeks at least, I'm second shift, varied days/hours.

My normal schedule is 2:00-10:30, or 4:30-1:00 but I can get anything between that, and also pick up about half of my hours by finishing other people's shifts.

I've found that I really prefer doing second shift. It means I have the day to myself, and I actually can do things on days in which I work. I'd much rather have the day and give up night time to work.

I work 8-4, m-f, with an hour for lunch. I get paid for 8 hours a day though, which basically means that management turns their heads when we work through our lunches. You get the idea: they yell when they "catch" us doing it, but then expect the work to get done somehow...

We have pretty flexible schedules, as long as we work our 8 hours (or more, if the work isn't done.) Nobody really watches. I think officially our start time can be anywhere from 6am-10am and then your leave time is 8.5 hours later because the half hour lunch is mandated. Not that we don't just eat at our desks and work anyway. The good thing, too, is that the flexibility is flexible...that doesn't make sense but it's not like I have the choice to pick my schedule...and then I have to stick with it. I can work 6-2:30 one day and 9-5:30 the next day. Most folks settle into a schedule but it's nice to know nobody's gonna get on your ass if you have to adjust it to fit around your life.

I usually to 7-3:30 or 7:30-4, depending on how tired I am in the morning. :) Anything later than that and I'm dealing with crappy traffic and crappy parking at work.

Of course. We get so wicked busy that this all goes to pot and we're working insane overtime hours left and right without getting paid for them. Yay!

i go to school, which is my job, i suppose, from 8-3. shorter than a regular work day. But i have to get there earlier than 8, and sometimes leave later, at 4:15 or 5:15, depending if i have a meeting of some kind, or a club, or lacrosse practice or whatever.

Luckily my workstudy job (sorting in the mailroom, tons-o-fun lemme tell ya -.-) let's me stroll in anytime I want as long as I stay for at least an hour. Which means I go in..... usually never. 'Cause self motivated I'm not. But Yoda I am.
