Do you eat raw cookie dough?
No! I suggested the poll because I wanted to scope out the competition.

Tasting the cookie dough at several points is an important step. Helps me determine if there's anything going wonky (usually a result of humidity acting on the flour, but sometimes other things - flavoring gone weak, etc) that I can correct, helps me determine if the baking time will need to be tweaked, helps me make sure it's going well.
Besides, since the most important ingredient is Love, tasting helps me make sure there's plenty of Love involved.
You are less than 3 pirates? Well I guess you are, you are at most one pirate.
But you have to make sure the love is properly cooked. Love has to simmer in its own juices in order to achieve the best taste.
Ok. I'll stop. This whole bit seems a little half-baked to me. I batter stop before someone gets a chip on their shoulder about the puns. *hides*
Yeah, I do tend to taste the cookie dough throughout the process to see if everything is fine. I also eat it when I'm rolling up the cookies onto the pan. I gotta clean the fingers and the bowl somehow.
exactly.. though I think that has partly to do with the fact that I sometimes just pop the pieces rolled up dough into my mouth. O:-)
I love your raw brownie mix. Your misshapen brownies were a much bigger hit than the picture perfect ones at house concert 1.
mmmmmmisshapenbrownies.
i haven't made brownies in months. i'll do that today.
me too.
after i pour out most of the batter to actually, liek, bake brownies, i always find myself looking at the bottom of the bowl and saying "why there's not enough egg in there to give me BAD salmonella, is there?" and then, a few swipes of an index finger later, the bowl looks almost clean. because i'm an idiot. but i wouldn't want to rinse scraps of brownie batter down the drain anyway. it might clog the pipes, y'know. :P
Hey, some of us take shatnes seriously. At least, when it comes to ritual garments. Um. Yes.
