Yeah, that particular show is done now. Though I think they're airing highlights on CBC radio. He's got another version of it coming up though called "50 Tracks: The Canadian Version" for all Canadian music. Everyone should email in and register a vote for King of Spain. ;-)

Meryn Cadell just mentioned it so I don't know if it was replayed at some time.

His comment on one part of the show was when Jian mentioned Nirvana and that everyone remembers where they were when "Smells like Teen Spirit" was played.

I flipped on mtv, and sure 'nuff.....

I grew up in a bit of a musical bubble. I remember hearing about it, although I don't know that I knew who he was at the time.

I was in the kitchen, getting ready for school, and it was on the local morning news. I don't remember much of the report, but then again it was on a four-inch black and white tv.
