Good rate at Comfort Suites Frucon Weekend

Discussion: Good rate at Comfort Suites Frucon Weekend

For once I decided to be ahead of the game. I just reserved a room at the Comfort Suites for the thouroughly decent rate of $87.20 CDN. That is for the normal 2 queen room with sofabed (sleeps 6) and I even registered for 4 people.

This is a promotional rate. The code is LOMAP. Book through the website at http://www.choicehotels.ca Search through and find the Comfort Suites City Centre in Toronto.

As far as the con space thing goes, I don't know if a suite will be uncramped enough. The do have a couple of smaller rooms than the Mulock A and B that we usually get, however if I recall correctly last year they actuall gave us A and B for the price of A, so maybe we should just get the same thing again.

Why don't we do what we did last year, too, and get a large suite for saturday evening, after the con itself. Maybe one of the 2-level ones this time. That should be more than enough space, I think.

So does this mean the Comfort Suites is definitely the location of the con, in one way or another? Is it safe to make a reservation now?

I don't see us moving it. There is nobody that I know who is willing to do a big search for meeting rooms and so forth, and they've been pretty good to us. Reservations can be cancelled, so there is no risk.

We do need to get with them about a meeting room soon, I'll see if I can sweet talk our lovely Kath into giving them a call. But in any case, at this point, Frucon is about a bunch of people staying in a hotel, so why mess with success? Let's stay at the Comfort Suites.
