the distance thing can be VERY hard.

Someone (I wish I could recall who) once said to me something that put it all into perspective, though.... perhaps it could be of use to you as well.

I'm paraphrasing, but what it comes down to is that you need to remember that it's not about "making a long-distance relationship work".... it's about "making the relationship work until it no longer has to be long-distance".
