John Williams

   Discussion: John Williams
Gordondon son of Ethelred · 20 years, 5 months ago
The first John Williams I knew was the actor that played the detective in Dial M for Murder.

Then then the film score composer hit the scene, he wrote the music for Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost ArK and just about every other science fiction or fantasy blockbuster made since then.

Then I heard of John Williams the Classical Guitarist.

Today I just disovered John Williams the Irish Concertina Player.

Now I know that John is one of hte most popular first names and Williams is one of the most popular last names but this is ridiculous. Are there any other famous John Williamses out there?

Is there any other name that you know that is shared by four or more celebrities?

Is John Williams the code name for the aliens who are trying to take over hte earth?

I have a relative by that name, actually.... and no, he's not the composer.

my cousin has an uncle (from his mother's side so it's not my uncle) named Bill Goldberg - just like the wrestler. he used to wear Goldberg shirts and say "that's my uncle!" :P

Does the uncle ever give someone a stare down, and yell, "You're NEXT!!!!!" ? :)

I have a friend who's last name is Goldberg, My last name is Nash. I found an electronic wrestling game, Goldberg vs Nash, so of course I bought it and gave it to her as a present. The best part is that when you play the wrestler's taunt each other so we here them saying things like "You're going down Goldberg (Nash)."

What makes it extra fun is that Murray calls her Goldberg and pretty much said that when they bowled.

*facepalm* is it kevin nash? tall dude, long hair?

and are you talking about lisa goldberg? :P

Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 20 years, 4 months ago
It could be Kevin, I'm not really sure. The Nash made an impression on me, the first name didn't. I thought it was Steve. Whoever the big wrestler is.

It is Lisa, at least I know the names of my friends, well some of them.

Yeah, you're thinking of Kevin Nash. A guy who calls himself Big Sexy, bleaches his hair, and talks like a 16 year old, even though he's like 54.

Goooooooooooldberg....Gooooooooooooooooldberg....Gooooooooooooldberg...

I still can't get over that his chant was exactly the same as the "Irwin" chant for I.R.S. back in the day.
