i'm not really sure what to say about the miscarriage thing. it's sort of like finding out that your favorite uncle died and left you lots of money, except it's more like finding out that he died and you don't have to pay for the funeral. i think that made sense. excuse any implied insensitivity. *hugs*

regarding your mom, i dunno, it's like the family drunk being angry because you're not drinking on christmas and making rude ignorant all-around-hurtful comments about random things... except that religion is the crutch and cross.

i'm going to leave it at that. sucks, dude.

For those that don't have too much background on my mom, she is mormon, and grew up in an abusive mormon family, I don't think she thinks she's doing anything hurtful. So.. yeah, it sucks, and although it hurts like you would not believe, I try to let it roll off after obsessing about it for a few hours/days/months/years.

But still, after being asked not to say anything, she squeals, then bombshells your brothers in front of the family like that... pretty nuts to me. *hughughug*

*hugs* I was with my mom when she miscaried. it struck her really hard and yet she pretended to be fine, but I could see it in her eyes, how her smile didn't reach her eyes for months. be sure you grieve. and *hugs*
