David Suzuki said that in this article. It was so wonderful a quote that i thought i'd pose a challenge to y'all.
for 100 points, share with me the most amusing quote you've heard in recent history.
+10 points if it involves fish.
+15 points if John Kerry said it.
+25 points if it involves fish *and* John Kerry said it.
+50 points if it involves gremlin porn.
+100 points if it makes me want to run out and buy chocolate sauce.

my sister & i stayed up all night watching the whole neverwhere.
my favourite line: "violence is the last resort of the incompetent."
before that, my favourite quote had been "they all go if you hit them right," an adage joyce carol oates quoted in an essay about boxing.
...they're sorta related...
That is a slight misquote of Isaac Asimov from the Foundation Trilogy.
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent" was said originally by Salvor Hardin, first Mayor of the Foundation and became a popular saying in the Foundation. We used to say it all the time in intermediate school.
no, it was probably me quoting it wrong... but i assumed it came from somewhere else. thanks!
