Penguins don't come from the zoo, the come from the Antarctic.
If he came from the zoo he'd be stamped "Property of the Zoo." ![]()
They don't stamp animals property of the zoo! You couldn't stamp a huge lion!

Actually, that whole "stamping" think is a misconception. It can be traced back to a small zoo in Northern Washington State, where a genetic mutation occured in the male of a mating pair of Venezuelan Widebill Penguins. The resulting feather pattern, a mottled black blotch, was then passed to at least one chick in each annual clutch. Through selective breeding, the zoo was able to produce a near perfect "Property of the Zoo" pattern, complete with stencil lines and everything. Birds with this pattern are notoriously friendly, propogate quite easily, and taste fantastic with tartar sauce.
