Weird displays

   Discussion: Weird displays
Andrea Krause · 20 years, 7 months ago

OK, I just freaked myself out with my weirdness so I got curious about what y'all do to your workplaces that's weird. :)

See, for a long time I've been keeping the bottle caps from my bottled water and stuff and building a pyramid. Well the pyramid got big enough so that I couldn't make another level until I collect a ton more. So I decided to make another pyramid. This idea got me thinking about Giza (blame the Amazing Race) so I made two extra pyramids, making them all three different sizes. Then I took a beanie Rhino and safety pinned his horn down so he's the Sphinx. And I have a "geek." ceramic beer glas or whatever from thinkgeek so I printed out and pasted "za Plateau" on the binder next to the glass. So the whole scene is three pyramids, a Sphinx, and a label of "geek.za Plateau". I need help. :)

So...any of y'all want to make me feel better about it all? :)

BTW, there are 175 water/soda bottle caps involved in these pyramids.

But does it have a KFC? The real Sphynx has a KFC across the plaza.

No, no KFC. But there is a can of Whoop-Ass..:)

Andrea - this is hilarious. I would pay to see this 'bottle cap' shrine.

the only weird thing i've done is once my fiance and i stopped in one of those sticker photo booths last winter. you get like a sheet of mini-sticker photos, and you get to choose the background. being the random people that we are, we chose the "happy thanksgiving" background and sloppily slobbered all over eachother in the photo.we both look like we're tryingto eat eachother's faces. i work in a dr's office, and i was bored one day...so i stuck 5 of these photo-stickers insneaky places.

love,

christina

This idea got me thinking about Giza (blame the Amazing Race) . . . .

You know, I tend to blame a lot of things on the Amazing Race. Like the fact that I yell at my tv on Tuesday nights and scare my friends.

("Mirna, you stupid harpy! If you speak English with a weird accent, it won't help people from other countries understand you!!!")
