Lori and I just spent the day sitting in the rain at the Appel Farm
How about dancing in the rain and lying in the wet grass while a sunset thunderstorm with pink lightning passes overhead?
So was it as rainy this year as it was last year? I volunteered there last year and we had a freakin FLOOD. a foot of water in some places. I was sloshing around in my bare feet. The meadow stage was a mud pit--the really squishy kind that sucks your feet in. Ifelt something touch my foot, and I looked down to see a worm crawling over it.
No it wasn't that bad and we didn't see any worms, just a vampire whose fangs came out of his nose.

Well, there have been baseball games, Falcon Ridge, and every year at Clearwater. I also have been out in the rain a couple of times to take pictures around New York City.
I never got the name, There is plenty of water but it isn't very clear. It should be called the Great Hudson River Muddywater Revival. J
clearwater, appel farm, frff, and bridgeton. rain ahoy.
oh wait...I forgot...volunteering for a Street Fair for my agency last year. I was sitting in the rain under a canopy for nearly 2 hours trying to convince kids to come into a tent and plant a seed for a fun kids activity.

how about sitting around working on a computer with a friend when the nice warm sunny day SUDDENLY breaks into a huge thundershower almost as soon as the sun goes down.
so i badgered him into running out of the house with me and we went for a walk in the warm air with the heavy cool rain. i think it was about two hours before the air started to cool down, and by then we were soaked through, so we headed back in. mmm. i love running out into storms :D You must first create an account to post.
