Probably in the 16-31 range. Almost all of them have been work-related, though.

I tend to send e-mails in spurts, but the last 24 hours was one of those lulls where I sent only work related e-mails. I've been pretty bad for quite some time with responding to personal e-mails.
My number would normally be MUCH higher because of the email volume at work...but so many people took today off that very little is going on over email. I very rarely send emails not at/from work.
I tend to be the opposite. instant messages tend to be more attention-requiring. I can't answer someone at my leisure if they're sitting there on the other end waiting for me to say things. I'm very much a person who likes to do everything at my own pace, I think. (And my pace is slow. hee.)
And I go both ways. (huh huh... huh huh).
I find IM to be far better for having any kind of meaningful discussion or for just chitchatting (imagine that, eh?) But I must have email in order to remember to do things/etc. I frequently email myself to remind me to do something.

I don't think I've actually sent an email message in well over 3 years. Email is the debbil. That's odd, you can't not enter a subject header. <shrug>

I can't even remember the last email I sent. I check, and there are a few people I would email, but as a temp I never even get work email, and all of my online friends are here, so I just use Frms.
I can't even remember the last time I used AIM (or anything similar). too many people. not enough interest.
