In which Kristy's fashion choices get her noticed:
So...like so many other Fruheads I had to catch a local Great Big Sea show in the hiatus to get my fill of Murray. While I would normally have worn the correct swag I decided on my "I love Canadian Boys" Tee since it was the first time I've seen Murray with GBS and at all (sniff) since 1999. I probably should have made more of a push to get Stage Murray but it was easier to get stage Sean (and who can complain about that) but it was a fairly small stage so...
Side note: While waiting for the show I was hit on by two guys with the same pick up line. It went something "You know...*I'M* Canadian. I said "Are you with Moxy Fruvous?" "Wha??" "Thanks anyway"
Then a couple times during the show I thought I saw Murray looking my way and Alan and he seemed to discuss something at one point while motioning over to me as well. (Murray who was wearing a brown T-shirt since we are on the topic of fashion)
But the end of the show when they left Murray walked by me...pointed at my shirt�and gave me a thumbs up before leaving. So it worked! I yell out�"I miss you guys!" and he smiled and that was that.
I had to walk a friend to her car so when I got to the back the guys were mostly on the bus already. I chatted with the guys from Carbon Leaf (who are way cool) and Alan was signing for some others when he spotted me and said "Hey...that's a Fruvous shirt isn't it" so we chatted and I said I was glad he was touring with them...blah blah blah...
Over all good night so I wanted to share. Thanks for reading...
