that's got to be hard.

It is hard to know what to say. I sympathize with you and agree with you to a point, but I also have to say that Steven, while damaged indeed, should not have to be "protected" forever. Eventually he will become an adult, and it will be necessary for him to take care of himself. At that point he will no longer be helpless nor any more at risk from his abuser than anyone else. I think it is very much arguable that while his victims are minors, Mr. Graeber should stay behind bars. Also if he is believed to be a danger to himself or others, he should stay in some kind of custody, but barring that, I think it is reasonable for him to be paroled. EVERYONE deserves another chance.

you know............i don't think he does. i don't think the man should die. but i certainly do NOT want him loose. he has six years max. he'll be out sooner or later regardless.� but it's been so little time. there's no healing. for instance, today stacy(steve's 12 year old sister) got into a fight with some little cunt who said, and i quote " you're brother is a faggot, so he deserved to get raped. and you're going to be a dyke when you grow up. you and your family should die".� now, if that kind of crap is going on with strangers, are things going to get better with graeber loose? the man STALKED steven in school and at every job he held for four years.� there's no cure for this condition. nothing will ever stop him from wanting to harm little boys.� and i don't think someone who is pretty much a guarantee to reoffend should be out on the streets. moreover, he lives in connecticut. whihc means the restraining order is only good in new york. steven works in ct. most of his friends live there.� my house, steven's house, we're five minutes away from the danbury border.� who is going to stop him from coming after steven? whether he's in jail or some other form of institution...i don't even know what i want. there's no paying for what he did. nothing's ever going to make it better. the least steven and his family deserve is for graeber to serve out his maximum sentence. THE MAN WORKED FOR THE SCHOOLS! if you've never been raped..well. i guess there's know fully understanding what it means to have him free unless you've had someone force his dick inside of you and rip you apart. gosh, that's crude. but them's the breaks.
