I would rather vote for never having seen any of them than admit to having seen "I Will Hold On" and "Sad Girl" and disliking both of them...

i just realized that i've never actually seen the sad girl video. iwho was kinda sucky, though. it would have been fine for a backstreet boys video, but..

down from above, on the other hand. :-) that's one of my favorite videos of all time from anyone. i like the fact that there's absolutely no commercial merit in it, it's just this almost grotesque scene of images. beautiful stuff.

/me goes off to dig up the video collection

Yeah, I totally agree... down from above is an excellent video.

I would love to see any of them... I've seen a few of the older ones, so long ago that I hardly remember... can/will someone share with me? Down from Above in particular, it's my favorite Frsong.

I'm with the "Down From Above" crowd. :)

Down From Above, for the same reason I've got the Beatles "Yesterday and Today" album cover ("The Butcher Poster") hanging up in my room.

.oO Everyone makes mistakes oh yes they do Oo.

yeah I was sooooo excited when I saw Sad Girl and I Will Hold on...I recorded them!

then I sat down later and watched them with Rod, and we both thought.."yawn" ok...but boring and a bit mainstreamy for us. The quality was AWESOME...but didn't really thrill me..not so much.

I loved MBLABOA for the hometowny feel of the video, and the play with colour and perspective.

yeah.

I've seen all of them, but Get in the Car is pretty much my favourite - it's one of the few where they actually look like they had fun doing it, and hey, they got to parody Cdn beer commercials *g* (Not to mention Dave "waterskiing" *lol*) I still want to know whose cottage that was though ;>

Get in the Car cracks me up every time, and I don't even know the commercials they're parodying. MBLABOA is also a lot of fun, tho. And Fell in Love is beautiful. And Down from Above is just...Wrong. Very Wrong.

I keep reading this and seeing Frvid as being some sort of entity or insect. Like an aphid. Maybe because it's also close to "Frvoid". :)

So very tired. Sorry.
Snarki_Fru · 22 years, 6 months ago
Down from Above has to be my favorite simply because its so $^#%# creepy! That and, watching the guys stalking the poor kid in heels *snicker* Get in the Car is definitely my second favorite, tho its tied with Stuck in the 90's. I don't remember Fell In Love, was that the one with the underwater nakedness?
I have seen Sad Girl. There were appealing parts to it :D IWHO could have been so much more, IMHO.

What about the video for the Ballad of Cedric Fruvous? Now that's a high-quality video, with those fancy costumes and all :D

*falls over laughing at the memory* It's not an official video though.. just something they did for CBC. It *is* by far the funniest they've ever made though :)
Joy- new picture! Back · 22 years, 5 months ago
I absolutely agree. Man, to get my hands on a copy of that...

i just thought i'd put here, seeing as quite a few people have not seen any, you can watch them online at maplemusic.com and also on a few other sites - check the FDC multimedia page for more links. *grin*
