loudon is cool. he's funny. i haven't heard much rufus, but what i did hear was a bit whiny for me.

Loudon tells a story I have to repeat here. People always get spell his name wrong, it is a tough one. Once he was performing at the Turning Point in Piermont NY. When he looked in the local paper his name was listed as Gordondon Wainwright, "that's not a misspelling, that's a totally different name. Gordondon son of Ethelred."  goovie: snow sucks! and my friend Gary, independantly started calling me Gordondon because of that.

"a fine celtic name, gordondon!...gordondon, son of ethelred!"

did anyone see rufus on the sharon osborne show when he performed "vibrate"? the man is brilliant!

How about Rufus's mom? I mean, sure, she kept the name McGarrigle, but she married a Wainwright....
