GBS is listed in the credits as Alan, Sean and Bob with Murray Foster on bass. Mur's description is of being "kind of like a cousin...not yet a brother" ;) So I'm told by a friend anyway, since I haven't spoken to him since last time I saw him at the Reservoir Lounge. *sigh* Heh, the only pic involving Murray is hidden under the cd tray too.
The album is a little bit more like Turn than it is Sea of No Cares. Other than the first single When I Was King I think the early leader for my favourite tune on this one is Sally Ann. It's a fun cd though - personally I'm enjoying it a lot. :) ![]() ![]()

I like the record. It's better than Sea of No Cares. Some trad. stuff, a great Bob song about hockey and some wonderful Sean songs. My fave so far is "Summer". My only objection, and I don't know if this was deliberate or not but you can barely hear any bass throughout the entire record. And I've got the Bass Boost on....
![]() ![]() You can hear their trad stuff on every album. There's only 2 trad songs on SB, though: "John Barbour" and "Chafe's Ceilidh," which is an instrumental song. They're releasing an all-trad album sometime next year. I dunno if Mur's gonna be a part of that one or not. Oh, and Murray's in the "When I Am King" video ;) ![]() You must first create an account to post.
