Is this the right number of forums?

i'm trying to keep the number of categories as low as possible to keep the
discussion concentrated, but this is just a first draft of categories. please
give your input for what you'd like to see here, or frum me. thanks!
i think the fact that there haven't been many threads yet is confusing. the
thing that makes forums different than standard discussions is that a forum has
multiple threads, which in turn have multiple messages. you drilled down into a
forum with one thread, so you didn't get down into the messages yet. does that
make an ounce of sense? :-D
hrm.... it looks ok to me. does anyone else have a problem seeing this (there
should be a couple threads showing)?
I'm using netscape 4.7, and when I click on Moxy Fruvous, I get a HUGE title that says "MOXY FRUVOUS" without any other titles or discussions.
This is definitely a netscape issue because I can see the disussions fine in IE.

Perhaps people should be able to create their own forums?

Primary question: Is the correct term fora?
Secondary question: Would anyone care if it were? Tertiary question: Will anyone comment on my correct use of the subjunctive form of the word "was" in the secondary question? Quatrenary question: Would this be appropriate for the random drivel forum? If not, could you give us an example of random drivel? I find occasionally that my drivel, though generated randomly, comes out with a pattern based on multiples of pi. Does that make it ordered drivel? Would its ordered nature preclude it from inclusion on the aforementioned random drivel forum? And if I ordered the drivel, would it come with a side of fries?

While I love just having the forums we now have, I can think of some others that
I'd be interested in at least...
-If we have a music one, how about books/tv/movie/art and such. Maybe not even as their own forums, but open it up to culture in general. -Politics, Religion, and other things you don't talk about at a party. Yeah, this could be asking for a troll, but frheads tend to have at least an interest in various philosophy-type-things. I can think of lots of other forum ideas, but those are the two big ones on my mind right now...
I don't have any objections to the books/tv/movie etc one but the Politics or Religion one - well you're opening a can of worms. I've seen majordomo
lists killed and major flame wars happen on NGs because of that. (example: once a discussion about the F&FFC concert came up on the wall and it was a
discussion, but too many fruheads took slams at others for *their* beliefs). I would definitely not visit the forums if I saw that happening and I Know
others wouldn't either.
I would stick to something less controversial. Josh doesn't need to hire any more babysitters on FHDC than he already has. You must first create an account to post.
