for what it's worth, you have my sympathy.

fortunately, the 'when are you giving us grandkids' topic has faded out of the top conversation lately.

feh.

My own grandmother just tonight started in about what my relationship was to any number of guys that come up in conversation. *sigh*

My mother, at least, is perfectly happy knowing she'll have granddogs someday. ;-)

I think my folks would be rather shocked and concerned if I were to say "we're having a baby." the first thing they'd probably want to know is who this mysterious "we" is. :-P

Truth be told, so would I -- especially given recent poll response. ;)

everyone is freakin pregnant. older sis, sister in law on baby number two, many cousins having kids just outta high school. i'm fast becoming the minority here, and by brewster standards i'm an old maid. so i'm not allowed to get knocked up. i mean NOT ALLOWED as in she'll freakin kill me. i've already had one pregnancy she didn't know about. no way i could hide it for real. and as far as getting married, well, let's just say i forsee a lot of litter pans to empty in my future.
