Jian for Governor General!

Rick Mercer (Canadian comedian and satarist) has a new show called Monday Report. It's sort of a parody on news programming. Now that he's finished with his contest to find the craziest mayor in Canada - he is taking votes to suggest who should be Paul Martin's new Governor General. Since being a successful television personality seems to be a requirement these days, Fruvous' own Jian Ghomeshi is apparently one of the front runners. He's got the eyes of an Arabian princess apparently.

So - go here and vote for Jian to become Canada's next GG. :)

And the problem with his THAC0 is figuring out what happens when he starts talking. Is it more of a taunt, or a distraction bonus?

last night on "RICK MERCER'S MONDAY REPORT" (for those of you in america, it's a smart, prime-time canuck version of "THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART"), mr. mercer asked "who should be canada's next GOVERNOR GENERAL?" his top three contenders included "jian ghomeshi, host of >play, because he has the eyes of an arabian princess." i was offended by this. offended because he failed to mention that i also have the pout of an arabian hooker.

nevertheless, a poll has been set up on the monday report website for humans to vote for their favourite candidate for governor general. i might suggest that you log on and vote for me. if i win it will be a victory for suppressed arabian princesses everywhere. seriously.

I'm reading this in the computer lab at university and seriously, I guffawed at some of this thread!� especially the "arabian hooker" part!��

There should be a warning on this thread.��

PS - I did vote for him.�� I forgot to mention that he's also very inclusive and that would be an asset to have a governor general who doesn't nitpick about mammality.

Placental mammals, sure, but I haven't heard his thoughts on the marsupials yet.
