Homes desperately needed!!!!!

Panya just had babies. I was *not* ready for this.

There are nine squeakers. I must have bought her pregnant.

Anyway, I need homes for the babies. I don't know the genders or colorings yet. However, I can make a pretty good guess: There are likely to be blue hooded, black hooded, agouti hooded, black berksire, agouti berkshire, or black self. That's what her littermates were, anyway.

I live in Atlantic City, NJ. I can probably get transportation within two hours, but I would much prefer if you were to come here. Something can be worked out, though.

So... anyone want a rat?

I would....but....I dunno, the roomie was pretty upset when I was harboring frogs for a weekend. I don't think he'd be too thrilled with a permanent illegal pet. That, and when I go home my cats would devour them mercilessly.

Actually, cats tend to be pretty good around Buttercup. The family cat liked to sit on her cage, but never actually tried to get in, and my roommate's cat will sniff at her (while my hand is carefully guarding him and her) but doesn't actually make any moves. So long as the cage locks and (unless you trust the cat) you only take the rat out in a closed room, they should be fine.

I don't suppose any of the rats would want to take a roadtrip to Ohio, would they? ;-)

Man, if I could, I would...� they need good parents, like you.� I have two definite homes and four potential...� they're so cute.� I can't wait until they get their fur.
