2 am fire alarm. suck.

That reminds me of the time I was a freshman in college and the fire alarm went off 3 times during the night. THREE TIMES! I was ready to kill (.oO I want to kill, kill, KILL!...Oo. ). Alas, it was a malfunction problem as well, making it really sensitive. Geez, I mean dust could set those sirens off. Ugh. Sorry about your alarm woes Z.

Yeah, after I went back to bed it went off again. I'm so damn tired right now.

I have some real low-class blankety-blanks living in my building. Granted, it's not exactly the nicest place in town, and landlords love people on Welfare - the landlord is guaranteed their rent money, on time, every time - but some of these people insist on adding 'stupid' to their list of accolades. At one point, the fire alarm was being pulled at least once a week. Now, no one leaves the building; the best that happens is that a few people hang around the fire alarm control panel until the manager comes by to shut down the alarms.

Needless to say, this is not a good thing.

That said, however, I can vouch for the fact that there has not been a real fire in my building in the nearly three years I've lived there, and I haven't heard of a fire before that, either. Despite that, the alarm's been pulled at least a dozen times in the past year - less than before, but still far too much to be reasonable.

And yes, if I caught the little bastards that do it, I'd probably spend time in jail as well. I don't care if making an example out of one of them would actually help; it would feel so good that I probably wouldn't be able to resist.

So yeah, I feel for ya.
