What if THEY try to kill you?� I mean, sleeping in subzero temperatures is dangerous...what if you claim you are trying to fall into hypothermia-induced sleep, thus killing yourself?

... and... I had already thought of that one. I would have to reduce the heat to under 32.

to kill yourself? you can die of exposure in warmer temperatures than 32 F

can I then? but they thought it was only inhumane if under 32...

wouldn't it make more sense to give free therapy to someone ENTERAINING ideas of suicide? rather than wait until it's almost too late? pff. psychs.

it's such a horrible idea given that the gross majority of people who attempt suicide try again. and a good percentage eventually succeed. *shudders* it should totally be driven by intent rather than the action. what a morbid policy

Can't you, like, fake trying to kill yourself? Ya know...get one of your friends to say they found you on the brink of death and administered miraculous first aid so now you're all better but need free therapy? ;)

heh, with my luck trying to fake it would end up with me actually sucseeding.
