Let me explain... I ask because, in the "Recent Posts" window on the main screen, I can see and reply to what you write.... but, there is no way for me to get to the original post that caused you to reply.

Is it a diary entry? Or?

Yes, he's replying to my latest diary entry.

I have both the "recent posts" and "recent diary entries" on my main page. So I can see when they match up and know what's going to be a reply to an entry. But I guess if you don't care about the diaries in general that's a silly idea for you. *shrug* Otherwise, you can just be confused. :)
