Beach Music

I was at Best Buy today and found a nice amount of Eddie From Ohio cds. What puzzled me is that they were in a section called "Beach Music." It wasn't just one misplaced cd, it was a bunch and a little card with the band name on it. Should EFO be put with the Beach Boys?

No no no no no no no NO! That's all wrong. EFO is from Virginia and they play folk! They're Appalachian!

*mutter* Beach music. PAH!

HAHAHAHAH!


From now on, when anyone asks me what kind of music EFO is, I'm gonna say, "Beach music".

weird. That would explain why I couldn't find any EFO last time I was at Best Buy.

I'm always suprised how good the selection at Best Buy tends to be (at least so far as semi-obscure folk goes).

Any Best Buy employees out there who can explain this? Justify yourselves!

I found Nick Cave categorized under "Hardcore/Punk" at one record store.
