Cracking the Code- Fruvous genes

Hi
I found myself watching pbs really late at night after getting home from a Halloween party and got quite the surprise when Fruvous appeared on tv, singing about genetics. It's a 6 part show called "Cracking the Code."http://www.geneticstv.org/ Did anyone else see this strange thing? The little songs the guys did to explain Mendel and fruit fly genetics were great.
ah-HA!
In addition to the absurdity of replying to myself, I offer the following borderline useful information: http://216.239.41.104/search?q=cache:e77x9dMlsikJ:www.witf.org/temps/Edu/edmedia/edSERV.pdf+pbs+cracking+code+moxy&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 which on page 47 states: "CRACKING THE CODE THE CONTINUING SAGA OF GENETICS 3 programs at 30 minutes Grade(s) 9 -12 A comprehensive resource for teaching the history and new science of genetics, this program features lively animations and clever analogy, which present complex science information in a way that positively affects student attention and retention. The pop band Moxy Fruvous performs songs that assist students to recall key concepts and information." It's a Nova program and WGBH (Boston) production from 2001.

I emailed the good folks at PBS and they said the next 3 episodes will be aired some time in the new year so keep your eyes peeled.

I believe we have some more videos to watch for Frucon 7! Funny stuff, and from the looks of the band (Short-hair Jian), and the copyright dates of the videos (2002, 2003), the most recent stuff we've heard from Fruvous as a band to date.
I am an idiot. 3AM on Thursday was last night, not tonight. Guess I didn't need to write that "SET THE VCR" note for myself!

I can torrent the videos if there's interest. Should I clip it to just the Fruvous content though? Wait until they're all broadcast and do it all at once? Too funny... I guess this is what happens when you lose a bet with Jack Micay. ;)
I'm definitely interested! Whatever ends up being the least amount of work for you would, of course, be preferred :-)
Would it be possible to have all the Fruvous/Jim McKay songs on one BitTorrent when it is all finished? Or are there legal issues with that? I'll be taping next Thursday as well. I don't have the ability to splice the video into just teh Fruvous segments though for Frucon, so someone else hopefully will be able to do that.
Yeah, I'm gonna do that. They're coming off my ReplayTV in near-dvd quality (8mbps mpeg video). Not sure what format I'll use yet, but they'll probably be ready by next weekend.

Yes, um, question: Is anyone putting these things into computer-readable format? Because I don't have PBS at school.
No, I'm not kidding.
I don't think it is even regular PBS. It seems to be that NY Channel 13 thing. I think it is a special educational Channel or something. The PBS site says nothing about it, nor does our local PBS channel's site.
Remember the 2 hour Nova program called "Cracking the Code" from April 2001 is NOT the program with Fruvous. The Fruvous one is called "Cracking the Code: The Continuing Saga of Genetics" and it is from 2003.

According to Chris, there were supposed to be Episodes 3-6 on Thursday morning. All I got was a new episode about DNA, an unrelated program about flight, and then a repeat of the episode about heredity. Did I miss something?
