'an age at least to every part' is a quote from memory of Andrew Marvell's 'To His Coy Mistress'
'there's little joy in life for me, and little terror in the grave' is a quote from memory of Charlotte Brontë's 'On the death of Anne Brontë'
both poems are very dear to my heart in diametrically opposed ways. this is mostly a reference to my ex once-removed and my ex thrice-removed in case anyone is wondering which woman i'm refering to. well, it's not really. but it's more a fit for her than anyone else i know. ok, it's not really about anybody. more about a feeling. too many words.
does anyone else know what i mean? i lack the prose necessary to express the poem's content into a coherent question
