Murray Foster now playing for Great Big Sea

Hello, I'm a big fan of Great Big sea (Newfoundland) and have been a BIG fan since 1996 and in January their bassist Darrell Powers had decided to leave the band to pursue other things.� Murray Foster had been replacing Darrell since February, i think) and I finally had a chance to see gbs live for the very first time, and Murray was great, of course I did see fruvous only once since being a fan in 1993 (age of 12) at the friendship festival in 99, (and they were great

*my personal opinion* is that I hope Murray will be a perminant part of great big sea.

They also now have a drummer named Kris

You do realize that you just told a bunch of Fruheads that you hope Moxy Fruvous never gets back together, right? ;)

Oh, well. To each their own. Me, I hope to never have to see GBS, ever.

Granted, Murray could be a member of both bands, assuming they didn't have full tour schedules (and I personally doubt the post-hiatus Fr�vous will tour as heavily as they used to)

Nah. GBS wants to conquer the pop world and I'm sure it's more than a fulltime job for the Murman. I doubt he'd be able to fit in a reunited Fruvous as well.

America's hat, I would love to see fruvous back together again, but with Jian hosting a show , it would be kind of hard for him to tour. (the shows great btw) Murray is very good at playing bass, and he seems to be fitting in very well with great big sea. I'm not really sure if he's going to be permanent or temporary, and why would you not want to see gbs ever??? chow

But, think about it. It's a CBC television show. On a sub-network.

It's a wonder they didn't get cancelled after thirteen minutes on the air.
