Poll: What should happen to FDC?

Ok, I messed up the other thread. This is the real one. What is up with FDC? Josh, are you taking it over as was rumored? What does everyone think should be done about it's falling into disrepair? I for one want the fruhead songs out, and I think it is time something was done about that.

That is in fact me. It's been on the backburner for awhile since there hasn't been anything new to post, but hopefully soon I'll be ready to put the time into it. I have it partially converted over to Entropy. In the mean time, I'll dig up the tunes and post 'em here.

Yay! I'm so happy it will be in good hands. The biggest reason I can see is new fans. I mean, we are all indroucing new people to Fru where ever we go and those people need a place to go to 'catch up' so to speak.

I know some peopel would say there's no need to keep up the place while the "indefinite semi-perpetual hiatus" is still ongoing, but having managed several web sites in the past, i can say this is the time when you finally have a unique opportunity to fix up the place, and make it all nice and functional before things start rolling again. seriously, nothing is as hard as updating an active and heavily trafficked web site.

Personally, i would take on the challenge, but i don't have much experience with managing web forums (though i guess there's always opportunities to learn), and i've already got three other pro-bono non-profit sites i am working on (in other words, i've got a full schedule of low-to-non paying work).

if the job's still available in a few months, i may offer my services again.

I wouldn't mind doing it either. I have no schedule right now. LOL. I've managed similar websites before and love a challenge.

i think it should be kept updated and all, but, i mean, what would it be updated with? nothing much seems to be happening in the land of fru right now. (apart from jian's SHIRTS, yo. i mean,�what the *hell* is going on with those?? :D)

i'll update it! me me me! i know jack shit about HTML and running websites, but damn, i can make all the words pretty colours! *ducks* ;D

I like the shirt he had on for one of the pictures for Play and GCMD. It's the "military" looking one.
Not that fond of the pink one though.

I like it the length it was for the First 6 Songs cover. But I think he mentioned getting it cut shorter for >play in one of the last e-mails. *sob*

Yeah, but he also lies alot. Never believe anything he says in those letters beyond who the guest is. I asked Kath about his hair after that letter came out and she says it is like it has been.
