Ok so I wrote Brent and asked him what he knew. He replied with the following:
A couple of weeks ago we sent David the following email:
"Will you be releasing any new solo music in the near future?"
(Those 12 words were the extent of the email we sent using the email link posted at www.davidmatheson.ca).
He wrote back, gave us a brief update as to what he's been doing and told us about the new CD with Maury. We told him we wanted one and we sent him $20 Canadian in exchange for the CD.
David doesn't have a paypal account and U.S. funds wouldn't do the trick, our bank said we couldn't use a U.S. check and write in "Canadian", so we sent $20 in Canadian cash. I don't get the impression that he's set-up for selling CD's over the net and I didn't see anything listed on Maple Music either.
Then today he sent some more info:

That cd will be on the website www.aifarce.com in about 2 weeks time - they are currently under repairs there. If people would be interested in phoning in an order, 416-205-3800 is the number to call with a visa card at the ready (this just in place today, Oct. 1st). The cost is 20 bucks cdn. plus shipping.
