Some people may have heard this song that Dave sang at the 6/15/99 show at the Ark in Ann Arbor. The commentary on Fruvous.com's review of that night is mostly "don't know what that song was". I remember searching Google for the lyrics a while ago and not finding anything. But! The internet in fact does have everything (in time) and here's the song:

I've always loved that ark show, and that song especially.

I was able to find an MP3 of it and it is Emmy Lou Harris singing

...lucy covers it on her last album, too, which i think is called every single day.� but yeah, the first time i was listening to it, i was like, "oh!� the dave song!"� heh.
