I must say, tho... they could have done a lot better with the audio quality while still making it feel "old".
Ugh.
Can hardly make out the words.
Also, completely loses the flow in the frames before the player piano thing.

Hmmm I didn't have any trouble, maybe you need new speakers. :)

Maybe you need ears that can actually pick up music, old man.
;)

the sound -is- screwy, isn't it? :P but still. it's davinci's notebook. i'm pimping this one like crazy.

It kinda reminds me of "I Can Hear You". Of course, that was recorded on a wax cylinder, wasn't it?
nate... Back · 21 years, 8 months ago
Yeah. heh

The difference being that that... recorded on a wax edison cylinder... sounded better.

:)

Of course, "I Can Hear You" doesn't have the Sneak. Nor does it have the Homestar Runner uttering his catchphrase..."Now, I'll do a dance". So it's give and take, I suppose.

Stole this off of some forum for H*R:

I know a lively fellow; Who is really quite unique.
He's small and smart and yellow; with a rodent-like physique.
He doesn't play the cello; and he never deigns to speak.
He's the Strong Bad's Leperello, and they just call him The Sneeeeaaaak!

If you've got a caper, then you know who to call...
It's The Sneak!
It's The Sneak!
Who's that dapper swindler out at Tammany Hall?
(oh-de-voh-dee-oh-doh) It's The Sneak!
That charming little whatsit who's the Strong Man's greatest pal!
It's The Sneak!
It's The Sneak!
Who did the Hully-Gully on the Panama Canal?
(doo wacka doo wacka doo) It's The Sneak!
[Instrumental]
Who's the jaunty jackanape with moxy and pizzazz?
It's The Sneak! (Yes Sir!)
It's The Sneak!
Who's been drinking bootleg hooch and listening to the jazz? (oh-de-voh-dee-oh-doh) It's The Sneak!
Who captures all the clever girls' affections?
Who made off with my Fluffy Puff confections?
He's dastardly, he loves catastrophy, his schemes are masterly, takes tea at half past three!
That sneaky sneak is sneakin' all over town!
Who dropped the Homestar Runner from his flying machine? (Humdinger!)
Is it The Sneak? (Twenty-Eight Skidoo!)
It's The Sneak!
Who put a Bengal tiger in the Kaiser's latrine? (Ach dun Lieber!)
It's The Sneak! (What's the ma--)
You know it's The Sneak! (Take us home!)
The sneakity-sneak all day long!

I also stole a link to the MP3 there!

Y'know, now that I've listened to the MP3, the instrumental break strongly reminds me of the music from Super Mario Bros. 2. Maybe it's just me.
nate... Back · 21 years, 8 months ago
Ya know, musically, it really reminds me of Davinci's Notebook.
Weird.

Wow... that's some good stuff right there.
