Monty Python Fans!

Are there any of you in here? If you want to know about how much of a fanatic of MP I am, just take a look at my diary hehe... Basically, I'm putting this up to find out if I'm not alone! Please reply!

Yes there are. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who DOESN'T like python in this group. hehe

oh! I'd forgotten that. :D But you've just recently started appearing on fhdc again.

It's almost a prerequisite to be a Python fan to be a Fruvous fan.  That and The Princess Bride.

I do know of at least one fairly well know fan who doesn't like princess bride (not me, of course) ;-)

Of course you aren't alone. One of the first things I noticed when going to Fruvous shows was that almost everyone was a Python fan. Huge numbers are also fans of HitchHiker's Guide, Red Dwarf, and the Black Adder too.

Find me someone who says they are not a Monty Python fan, and I will call them someone who doesn't have a sense of humor!

One of my coworker friends does not find them at all funny. I have a really hard time imagining living in that world. :)

The Election Special has always been one of my favorites. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite, though. All of Holy Grail is fantastic. I love the Dead Parrot. The scene in Life of Brian where the Roman Soldier corrects Brian's Latin grammar is fantastic. I'm tired.

Wah ha ha ha ha haa!! That's great, thanks! I don't have a favourite sketch, because I really love them all! My favourite ones to perform (that I've memorized) are -The Restaurant Sketch (It's hilarious when I run around trying to be all the characters LOL. "It's lucky I didn't say anything about the dirty knife...) -People Falling out of High Buildings (I can't do this one properly because I don't have somebody to throw dummies past the window! Darnit...) And I can't think of any more at the moment, but I absolutely love to perform them. Oh of course I like The Homicidal Barber! And Wink wink, Nudge nudge (A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat! ;)) And The Argument Sketch is awsome. Also, Albatross! And Bicycle Repair Man! (Is it an stock broker? Is it an insurance salesman? Is it a church warden?*gasp* No! It's BICYCLE REPAIR MAN!!) Hehe I'll stop now. I own the script books for Flying Circus, and I often read them out loud to my brother, who is also a big fan ;) Not quite as big as me though! That's all for now! It's always great to hear from other fanatics! Oh yes, and Princess Bride! Best movie ever (and book hehe) after Holy Grail!
