![]() The pleasure here is ours! Hope your shyness never sours the multitude of hours you shall spend upon our bowers. Not a rhymer who just cowers in a fertile field of flowers, but a fruhead's nonesense towers (and sometimes jian showers). That is, welcome! ![]() yaaaaaaaaaay siobhan!! *dance* siobhan's one of my britishfr converts, so be nice! and worship her britishness! yup. :D ![]() ![]()
Welcome, Siobhan! And hooray for Britishness! The concept of "Jian Showers" is grossing me out, however *g*
![]() mmmmmmmjianshowers :D siobhan's probly with you on that one. she's one of murray's people. :) ah well, all the more jian for me, hehehehe :D ![]()
Hrm...am I the only one that sees this icon as looking like a poor dog flattened? :)

Um, and never mind, because when I refreshed the page there was a new icon in place. Ignore me. :)

shi-VAHN, approximately. right? it's one of my favorite irish names. when neal and i have kids, i want to give them all irish and jewish names. ack. i'm talking about having kids. somebody shoot me.
![]() 1. ok, I was so wrong in my mental pronunciation. 2. "Danny" should cover both. 3. *bang*
![]()
yup. it's pronounced, as carey said, shi-VAHN, although in an english accent it's more like shi-VON. yeah. :D i think it has a little accenty thing over the 'a', too. i don't put it in ever, but justine sometimes does, i think. :)

She got it so right o the pronunciation but I had exams and could not join in. Thank you for the warm and friendly welcome. It was lovely and made my hungover post exam day. It also has got a fadder or something like that over the a which looks like an accent but is a neat thing perculiar to Ireland. I like having an Irish name but am calling my kids something Japanese or French. But I am way to young to think of that now. I recommend calling your child Siobhan but not if there are a lot of Irish Catholics about as there were 3 at my first school and about 10 at my second.
