Mike Doughty at the horse

Just curious if anyone (other than me and a couple friends) are going to the Mike Doughty show at the Iron Horse this coming thursday, the 27th.

Should be an awesome show!
For those who don't know... Doughty was the frontman/guitarist for Soul Coughing... and is now touring as a solo artist singer/songwriter.
He writes some very fun songs and is a great live show.

I LOVE Mike Doughty.. too bad I live in DC... Soul Coughing is such a great group.. Check out the Bob's when the come there.. they are a great group!

The bobs were great, till Janie left. Now they kinda stink. :(

I used to work closely with the Bob's in NJ working for a stage theater group when I was in highschool. When the Bob's actually played at local highschools in the early 90's for communities.  Janie copied one of my haircuts in 1990.. I felt quite honored.  I saw them last year and they were alright not the same though.  I can agree with you that they aren't the same. Not the same karma.. :)  They still have great songs none the less.

so this dude is also coming to Chicago soon... 2 dates in Schubas with the guy from Semisonic, Dan Wilson.  Cool.
