Presents

It's the holiday season and it got me to thinking. Have you ever gotten a special present that totally made you light up? What was it? Did you ever give one?

oooohhhhh, i'm not great with giving pressies, but this year i gave the best present! go me! :) i gave jennifer the clinique 3-step system for her birthday this year - she wanted it soooooo badly and didn't think she was going to get it. the look on her face when she opened it was worth a million times what i paid for it (and boy, was it expensive) :D

One year, I got a commodore amiga computer... with games.. mini golf, paperboy, test drive (ahh, those were the days) and I remember the graphics and everything being just state of the art.. it was incredible! I played with it ALL the time, and saved my allowance money to buy games.

I STILL use that computer. *grins* It's at my parents' house now, but I played minigolf on it last time I was over there. :)

I got the best present this year! My ex-bf from AU. came and surprised me. That was cool, except for the fact that I couldn't stand him while we were dating and was thrilled that he went back to Australia and I'd never have to see him again.
Oh! But I did get these really neat wool socks from my brother. I've fallen in love with them. I can't wear them though because they are super warm and itchy. I think I might frame them. Yes, they are that pretty.
