If choon means song then...ok :) There's only one Beatles song I hate, and that's Revolution #9. I like everything else. I became a Beatles freak when I was 9 years old and all of their music is so intertwined with who I am. Lovelove love them. Couldn't choose a favorite if I tried. "I'll Follow the Sun" has a huge pull on me for some reason...it's very simple and short but it's soothing to me.
I can't even describe how the Beatles make me feel when I listen to them. I just get this joy in my heart...because it's all so frickin' beautiful to me. I sound like a total dork. But it's true. Good music associated with good memories.

I know I have plenty that I like to jam too. Things We Said Today, Oh Darling, Abbey Road Side 2, Mr. Kite, If I Needed Someone just are some of those I love playing.
I'll convince my boss to have the next Beatlefest in Edmonton. :)

i just got the white album and now have blackbird on repeat. i saw paul on tv singing it live at the queen's jubilee celebrations earlier this year, and now i have it on cd! wheeeeeee! easily my favorite beatles song next to can't buy me love. *grin*
Also a standard song to know if you want to call yourself a guitar player. I haven't learned it yet. I'd love too, but it's not easy.
I'll have to remind you later when it comes around, but every Beatlefest is broadcasted live on the internet at listenonline.net. The broadcasts unfortunately are not archived except for the Special guest speakers due to FCC demanding royalties for playing music on the net, but with the live streaming, you get everything. It is the next best thing to being there.
I can call you during a song on November 29th, the 1st Memorial for George Harrison's death, live from Strawberry Fields.
i'm in the process of doing so... ;) but then, i've only had the cd since yesterday afternoon, so give me a chance :D i'll let you know how i get on, hehe :)
You'd be doing much better than me if you learned it....
being able to play it is one thing, but being able to play it well is quite another... lol :D
