Making their Toronto debut, northern Virginia-based folk rock quartet, Eddie from Ohio, will headline Hugh's Room at 8:30 PM on February 20. The band has released their eighth CD - a live double disc entitled Three Rooms. Recorded over the course of three performances in Spring and Summer of 2002, EFO brought in Mary Chapin Carpenter band members, Jon Carroll (keyboards) and John Jennings (guitars) to flesh out a selection of favorites from the band's twelve-year canon. After main stage appearances at prestigious festivals like Telluride Bluegrass, Four Corners Folk Festival, Kate Wolf Folk Fest, Philly Folk, Falcon Ridge and Georgian Bay's Summerfolk, the independent group has collected a sizeable grassroots following (Edheads) throughout the U.S. and even Canada. Moxy Fruvous alum and longtime friend, Mike Ford opens the show.
