at Manhattan sq. Park. When I'm not at fruvous show, you can find
me Snowboarding, Skateboarding, reading, or jamming with my
friends (I'm a little bit of everything, bass, tuba and
keyboards). I just recently met fruvous after the WBER interview
(Aug. 10, 99). Support your local fruheads, peace out.
As a sort of post script to this account. I must say that I
really, really, really, really miss fruvous. I was devestated by
their break-up, they were truly one of my musical staples and
their shows could not be beat. When I look back on the concerts
I've seen, most of my fondest memories revolve around the nine
fruvous shows I saw. The experience of being able to hang out
with your friends, make new friends and dance like a crazy monkey
in a non-mosh pit envinronment really meant the world to me. I
understand the great personal sacrifices that everyone made to
further the band and I would like to say that they have not been
in vain. So, Mike, Murry, Jian and Dave; you kept me smiling
through some of my darkest days of teenager-hood (you now how
that goes), you delighted my friends and family with your
unrivaled stage presence and wit. Most importantly, you showed
all of us fans that there are bands that really are all about
just entertaining and getting a good message across without
alienating anyone. For this I thank you greatly. It's 2002, I'm
19 now and I still remember the first show I saw way back in
1996, I'm smiling and crying at the same time, thank you for all
the memories, it was a great ride.
