double major in music and computer science... though I think I am far more capable in the music area. I play
the piano, which is how my nickname, Magic Fingers, came about. I was especially excited when the new
Fruvous gear came out with the MF logo, since the initials can be for Moxy Fruvous, or for me... Magic Fingers.
:-) If I'm not practicing or composing music, then you can usually find me in front of a computer, chatting on
IRC, emailing, or just web surfing. I once formed a Moxy Fruvous cover band for a party... we called ourselves
The Incredible Medicine Show... we didn't pull it off quite as well as expected however. Oh well. I was first
introduced to Fruvous during my ride to beach week after my freshman year in college. The guy who drove me
there had a mix tape with King of Spain and My Baby Loves A Bunch Of Authors on it. When we got to the beach,
the first thing I did was to go out and buy Bargainville and You Will Go To The Moon.... I've been hooked ever
since. Once in a while I log onto undernet and chat in #moxyfruvous under the nick MFingers, but i can always
be found on ef.net as MFingers or on fdf.net as Magic_Fingers. Give me a buzz if you IRC on any of those IRC
networks. I'd love to hear from other Fruheads... maybe we'll meet at a concert sometime! :-) |
