About You:Fruvous was recommended by an online buddy. Within a couple of months, I'd seen them 2ce (at the Ramshead Tavern in Annapolis & Borders Books in DC), and owned all their CDs. It's always nice to find bands with brains...(c.f. Barenaked Ladies & Ben Folds Five) Prior to that, listening to everything from Dave Matthews, to hiphop, to (shudder) "boy bands," all of which, I'm ashamed to say, I continue to indulge in.
