Here, I write and perform in the sketch comedy troupe "Slow
Children At Play" and write a column called "The
Pantomime Horse" for the Daily Free Press.
I was introduced to Moxy Fruvous through the They Might Be
Giants mailing list (my favorite band for quite some
time now.) There is often discussion on the list about Moxy
Fruvous, and I'd determined that just about everyone
who liked TMBG also liked Moxy Fruvous. So, on my first Impulse-
CD-Shopping Trip in Boston, I found
"Bargainville" in the "Bargain" section of Newbury Comics,
appropriately. On a whim, I bought it, and have been
in love with the music of the Fruvous ever since. My other favorite
bands include David Byrne / Talking Heads,
R.E.M., Beck, Bjork, and the Smiths. |
