We've moved out of the albums and into everything else.  Here is the schedule:

Wednesday:  Live Noise & Other Medleys

Thursday:  Fruvous songs that didn't make it to an album

Friday:  Popular Fruvous Covers

We're in the home stretch for the preliminary rounds, so here goes...

Are you going to do songs from compalation albums? Today is the day we fight back or Maple Syrup time or even Crossroads?

These songs fall under the category of "Fruvous songs that didn't make it to an album".  Green Eggs & Ham and Grudge are also going be on that poll.

Mmm... what we need more of is "Grudge".

This seems like kind of an odd category. Live-only songs are really very distinct, and if we include them, should we go back and judge the other albums based on the quality of the songs themselves, not necessarily the recordings?

I mean, if we were going based on live versions, I might have picked Pisco for the first half of C, but the album version is so weak I couldn't vote for it.

I never said anything about voting for your favorite song as it appears on the record.  This is your favorite song, however you determine it to be your favorite.

Don't worry about songs that might not make the first cut.  I am planning on having some wild card rounds due to the fact that some album sides are more loaded with favorites than others.

I mean, when you say "what is your favorite song from X album"... people kinda assume you mean the album version.

Exactly. Otherwise it's more "What is your favourite song whose recorded version happens to be on X album?" And the albums become arbitrary groupings.
