Greetings folks.

I was just listening to Gulf War Song and remembering a wonderful concert at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Haddonfield, NJ where they did it for an encore. The wonderful acoustics there, combined with Moxy Fruvous' vocal mastery, made it one of my more memorable concert experiences.

I can't believe it has been over five years since I've seen this band, yet they remain a mainstay on my playlists.

I found this site through the Fruvous.com site and am interested in exploring it to find out what the band members are doing today.

Welcome to FHDC Ted.

Murray is the Bass Player for Great Big Sea and has a duo going with Dave called Great Atomic Power.

Dave has a solo career and the above mentioned duo with Murray

Mike has a solo career singing songs about Canadian History. He often performs in schools.

Jian works for the CBC.

Anyone know what Tobey and Cal are up to?

No, I fired him long ago. He was pushing the beat too often.

I know I carelessly misspell things but when misspelling GBS as FHDC sets a new record.

No, but I do know that Lazlo is now touring with a band called Enter the Haggis: www.enterthehaggis.com

The band nearly all crashed at my place a few weeks ago.  Alas, their van wouldn't fit into our garage, and there's no reasonable overnight parking in Brookline.

In college in 1995, I didn't quite understand the Gulf War song.  Living in Texas, and believing that the first Iraq war was a nessasary evil, praising Bush I that he did the right thing by keeping Sadam in power, I didn;t fully understand the song.  Bush II taught us all that 4 Canadians in their mid twenties could say something about the world that was just as importaint as when they penned the song.  Ironically, I feel it is more acplicable today then 15 years ago.

When Dubbayah sent us into the greatest blunder this country ever made, I listened to the song.  Infact, I put that song on repeat.  I tryed to make sence of the war and gave up because there was no such sence...

I digress....
