| Location: | Portland, Oregon | | About You: | My wife and I first saw MF at the Strawberry Music Festival May of 99 and became instant lifelong fans! 3 days later they played their first Portland (Or)show and we brought 2 friends who had the same reaction to their first show as we did. The next show in Portland we brought 4 more friends, at this rate we'll own the Aladdin Theater by their 6th performance here! We just returned from Strawberry Memorial Day 2000 where they pretty much owned the festival! Great Beatle covers at night! (I suggested it after they got a bit bogged down in an improv that was going nowhere! Too bad about the Leafs, but at least they lost to the eventual Stanley cup champs! |
